Booking

You can book a BERWAYS flight via our website www.berways.com.

You can book a BERWAYS flight as part of a package tour through a tour operator or travel agency.

When booking via our website, the following payment options are available to you:

  • PayPal
  • Credit Cards: VISA, Mastercard, American Express

We are happy to assist you with rebooking or changing your flight. Please contact our customer service via one of our contact channels. For last-minute rebookings or changes, please go directly to the check-in counter on the day of departure.

Please note that no rebooking is possible with the Fare Classic, except when booking the Flex-Option.

If you wish to cancel your BERWAYS flight, please contact our customer service.

Please note that cancellations are not possible with the Fare Classic.

If you booked your flight through a travel agency or as part of a package tour, please contact the respective tour operator or travel agency.

With the Flex option, you can rebook your flight once free of charge. This applies per one-way flight and per person.

Check-in

Check-in is currently only possible at the airport. Please allow sufficient time.

No. Online check-in is currently not available for any BERWAYS flights. Check-in is only possible at the airport.

Please arrive at the check-in counter at the airport in good time so that you are checked in and have your boarding pass at least 60 minutes before departure. We recommend arriving at the check-in counter at least 90 minutes before departure.

Baggage

We are sorry that your baggage has been lost or damaged.

Report the damage or loss immediately to the responsible handling agent (“Lost & Found”) at your destination airport and have a damage report drawn up. Alternatively, you can send the damage report to BERWAYS.

If the loss or damage is only reported after you have left the airport premises, you must prove that it did not occur between baggage claim and the time of reporting.

Baggage that is not considered free baggage allowance due to its weight, size, or nature (e.g., sports equipment, weapons) is considered special baggage or excess baggage.

This must be registered at least 72 hours before departure and is subject to a fee (except for mobility aids, etc.).

Transportation will only take place after confirmation by BERWAYS and is subject to available capacity and safety regulations.

Animals (with the exception of recognized assistance dogs) are not permitted on BERWAYS flights.

Barrier-free travel

Pregnant women may travel until the end of the 32nd week of pregnancy if they present a medical certificate (pregnancy log) confirming their stage of pregnancy. If the flight falls within the period after the 32nd week of pregnancy, BERWAYS may refuse carriage. This applies to the outbound flight even if only the return flight falls within this period. To avoid health risks, we recommend consulting your doctor before traveling.

Safety

Yes, power banks may have a maximum capacity of 100 Wh per device.

Up to 5 devices are allowed per person. They must be carried in your hand baggage and be accessible at all times.

For safety reasons, however, power banks may not be used on board and must be switched off.

No. All BERWAYS flights are non-smoking flights. Smoking any type of cigarette, including electronic cigarettes, is prohibited on board. Electronic cigarettes and their batteries may only be carried in hand baggage.

No. The consumption of alcoholic beverages not served by the cabin crew is not permitted on board.
